
WATERLOO, ON – BlackBerry is readying the launch of a new device called DTEK50 that it describes as the world's most secure Android smartphone.
Equipped with Android Marshmallow 6.0, DTEK50 combines BlackBerry's security, privacy and productivity with the full Android experience in an all-touch design, reads the news release. Features include an intelligent keyboard, customizable BlackBerry convenience key, a 5.2" full HD display and an 8MP front facing camera and a 13MP auto-focus rear camera.
The second Android device after the Priv, DTEK 50 is priced at $429 ($299 USD) and is available for pre-order now in Canada, the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and The Netherlands and will ship next month.
