Beth Janson leaves the Canadian Academy, Louis Calabro appointed interim CEO

TORONTO – The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television (the Canadian Academy) announced today its CEO Beth Janson (above) is stepping down after having been appointed chief operating officer at TIFF. Louis Calabro, the Canadian Academy’s current vice president, programming and awards, has been named interim CEO by the academy’s board of directors, effective May 20, 2022.
