Best Buy and Future Shop to sell CSR receivers

TORONTO – The press releases keep on coming from Canadian Satellite Radio. This morning the company announced an agreement to distribute XM Satellite Radio receivers through all Best Buy and Future Shop retail electronics stores across Canada as well as online

"XM Satellite Radio has been a great product for Best Buy stores in the U.S. and we’ve been patiently waiting for almost two years for CSR to be licensed, so we are incredibly excited by the opportunity to finally bring XM to Canadian consumers through our two national chains," said Kevin Layden, president and COO of Best Buy Canada, in a release. "We have believed in satellite radio since we saw our first demonstration of this amazing technology and the exciting choices it will offer rural and urban Canadians."

Best Buy and Future Shop are the same company. There are 34 locations of the former and 116 of the latter.
