BES cancels May 10 luncheon in Toronto

TORONTO – The Broadcast Executive Society announced today it has cancelled its May 10 luncheon at the Park Hyatt Hotel due to low ticket sales. “In hindsight, the timing of this luncheon to be at the same time of the LA television programming meetings, was not the best,” the BES said in a release. The association said it will refund and/or credit any tickets purchased. BES is hosting its sold-out annual golf tournament on August 8 at Bond Head. www.bes.ca
