
TORONTO –Daniel Bernhard is leaving his role as Friends of Canadian Broadcasting (FCB) executive director and spokesperson for the Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC), where he will start as CEO after Labour Day.
An ICC press release notes Bernhard will be coming to the organization following “a transformative run” at FCB, “where he led the effort to rally Canadians around cultural sovereignty on air and online.”
A source has informed Cartt.ca FCB has hired a search firm to help them find their next executive director.
Bernhard became executive director of FCB in 2018, taking over from Ian Morrison.

The statement also notes an announcement on a new executive director is forthcoming.
