Benson, Ellis get promoted at Corus

TORONTO – Erica Benson has been named as vice-president of programming for Movie Central and SCREAM, while Ted Elis becomes vice-president of programming and production for CMT and Max Trax, Corus Entertainment announced Tuesday. Benson, who was most recently director of programming, will oversee all aspects of scheduling and original production for Movie Central, Encore and SCREAM. She has over 15 years of experience in the television industry, including independent production and funding agencies.
