TORONTO — Last week, Bell Canada rolled out a new service designed to help customers moving homes to smoothly transfer their Bell services to their new residence.
Bell’s Move Valet service will assign a dedicated team of moving experts to provide the customer with support throughout the process, including seven-day-a-week telephone support. The service provides a complimentary Bell Mobility hotspot during the move for when the customer’s Bell Internet is unavailable, for customers who have a Bell residential Internet plan as part of the move order and a Bell Mobility consumer post-paid plan with a Wi-Fi compatible device. More details are available here.
The new Move Valet service from Bell competes with a similar one from Rogers.
Rogers’ Moves Concierge service also provides a dedicated specialist to help customers transfer or get services for their new home. As part of the service, Rogers provides contactless delivery of equipment for the customer to self-install and virtual assistance during the set-up process. More information is available here.
