
MONTREAL – New low-cost prepaid wireless service Lucky Mobile is now available to residents of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, parent Bell said Monday.
Launched initially in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia in December, the service offers prepaid plans starting at $20 for unlimited local talk with no long-term commitment. Customers wishing to add texting and data may opt for the $40 Zone plan that includes unlimited Canada-wide calls, unlimited Canada-wide and international texts, and 1 GB of data at 3G speeds.
All Lucky Mobile plans include voicemail, unlimited nationwide and international incoming calls and texts, call display, call waiting and 3-way calling.
"Expanding the reach of Lucky Mobile to Manitoba and Saskatchewan provides even more Canadians with access to a great new low-cost wireless service option," said Bell Mobility president Blaik Kirby, in the news release. "With no credit checks, no long term commitments and no surprises, Lucky is the always predictable and affordable way to access all the wireless services you need."
Lucky Mobile offers service in 19 zones covering most major cities across the country, now including Winnipeg, Regina and Saskatoon.
It is available at Walmart, Wireless Wave, TBooth wireless, Wireless etc, Visions Electronics and select The Source locations or by calling 1-833-88-LUCKY.
