Bell TV adds HD on-demand platform

MONTREAL – Bell TV has launched the first national on-demand video service for Canadian satellite TV subscribers, available in 1080p HD resolution, no less.The company said Thursday that Bell TV On Demand allows customers with its HD PVR, (models 9241 or 9242), to browse top, HD quality movies, including select blockbusters, for immediate playback with full PVR control. Movies cost $6.99 per title for up to 48-hour access, and are available instantly by remote control on channel 1000, or by calling 1-866-68 ORDER.
