Bell to filter mobile content

MONTREAL – Bell Mobility said today it will make mobile internet access “safer” through a joint content filtering service, the company announced today. Called ‘Parental Control’, the content access control service allows payment-responsible account holders to limit mobile-phone access to certain Internet sites that they deem inappropriate for their children. Guidelines can be preset to block objectionable content in real-time. The service is available nationally on most phones for $5 a month.
