MONTREAL – Bell has expanded its LTE network to Halifax and Dartmouth, NS and Belleville ON, plus rolled out its first LTE superphone.
The HTC Raider 4G LTE operates on LTE networks where available and on Bell's HSPA+ network outside LTE coverage areas. Its features include a cinematic 10.1 cm (4.5 inch) qHD display, a 1080p camcorder, 8MP camera and HDMI connectivity, LTE capable Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity for up to eight devices, wireless surround sound, and access to more than 250,000 apps from the Android Market.
Available now at Bell's stores and retail partners, the device sells for $149.95 on a three year term, or for $599.95 without a contract.

"Built to take advantage of Bell's powerful new LTE mobile network, the HTC Raider also works seamlessly on the Bell HSPA+ network already covering more than 96% of the Canadian population.”
Already providing maximum LTE download speeds of 75 Mbps with typical speeds ranging from 12 and 25 Mbps for fast access to the Internet, mobile TV and other data-intensive applications, Bell said that its LTE network will ultimately deliver maximum download speeds as fast 150 Mbps.
