Bell MTS investing $400 million in Winnipeg fibre network

WINNIPEG — As part of its $1 billion capital investment plan for Manitoba, Bell MTS announced Monday it’s investing approximately $400 million to bring its fastest Internet technology to Winnipeg, with direct all-fibre network connections to nearly 275,000 homes and business locations throughout the city. The fibre project will offer Winnipeggers access to Bell MTS services such as Gigabit Fibe Internet, Whole Home Wi-Fi and Fibe TV, the BCE news release says.
