MONTRÉAL – The Oscars are going mobile for the first time in Canada. Bell today announced that CTV Mobile's live and on-demand coverage of the 85th Academy Awards will be available this Sunday on Bell Mobile TV.
Bell Mobile TV customers can watch all of the CTV broadcast this Sunday, February 24, as well as the Canadian red carpet special CTV at the Oscars, hosted by CTV's Ben Mulroney and E!'s Leah Miller.
"Bell Mobile TV is the first to offer live and on-demand mobile access on to the hugely popular Academy Awards, reflecting our commitment to deliver the best content to Canadians on the best networks," said Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility and Residential Services, and Bell's Chief Brand Officer.
Live programming on Bell Mobile TV starts at 6 pm ET with CTV at the Oscars followed by the 85th Academy Awards ceremony at 8:30 pm ET. Bell Mobile TV subscribers will have complete on-demand access beginning February 25.
