MONTRÉAL — Bell Media announced today its French-language specialty channel Z will premiere the new documentary series Au Chalet de Rémi (At Rémi’s Chalet) this fall.
Comprised of 10 half-hour episodes, the docuseries is produced by Sphère Média in collaboration with Bell Media.
Each week, Quebec actor Rémi-Pierre Paquin (above) will receive friends who are dear to him in the privacy of his chalet in the Mauricie region “to experience an unforgettable day together in his corner of Mauricien paradise,” reads an English translation of Bell Media’s French press release.
Paquin’s visitors will experience “a panoply of memorable activities out of the ordinary” in the comfort of his chalet, which will be like “a vacation camp for adults tailor-made for its guests, to the delight of viewers,” the translation says.
Quebec actors Patrice Robitaille, Julie Le Breton, Pier-Luc Funk and Catherine Brunet will be among Paquin’s guests during the season.
“Rémi-Pierre is recognized by his peers as a welcoming, generous and unifying person. Any occasion is an excuse to party and get together with friends! Many of his fellow artists dream of spending an epic time at his chalet and some lucky ones will have unique access there for a weekend,” says Mélanie Bhérer, general manager of variety, lifestyle and documentary for Bell Media, in the English translation.
“Rémi-Pierre is an outstanding ambassador for the Mauricie and the public will be able to discover the treasures of this superb region.”
Au Chalet de Rémi will be available on Z this fall and on Crave this December.
