Bell Media's Team 1040 locks up Canucks' radio rights

VANCOUVER - Bell Media-owned Team 1040 and the Vancouver Canucks have extended their partnership with a new long-term radio rights deal through the 2016-17 NHL season. Team 1040 has been the exclusive radio broadcaster of the Vancouver Canucks and home of the Canucks Radio Network since 2006. The deal is the latest in a series of sports acquisitions for Bell Media Radio.
