Bell Media’s French specialties unveil fall schedules, new looks

MONTREAL – Bell Media’s French-language specialty channels will offer viewers more than a hundred new shows mixed with a slate of returning favourites this fall.

The company unveiled the fall schedules for Canal Vie, Canal D, VRAK TV, Investigation, Ztélé, RDS, RDS2, and RDS Info in Montreal earlier this week at its upfront presentation to advertisers and ad agencies.  Highlights include 14 new programs on Canal Vie, a new brand image and channel identity for Ztélé, a new look and evening programming for VRAK, the launch of “older sister” VRAK 2, and plans to mark the 25th anniversary of RDS with 25 Ans D’émotions, a documentary series that will look back on the stand-out human stories and sports events from the last quarter century.

Bell Media Sales also represents MusiquePlus and MusiMax, as well as Corus Media’s specialty channels Séries+, Historia, Télétoon, and Télétoon Rétro.

Luc Sabbatini, president of Bell Media Sales, presented a video the event the he says underlines the values and vision at the centre of Bell Media Sales, which was introduced nearly one year ago.

“The rules in the market are ever-changing and we must react and communicate accordingly”, Sabbatini said.  “We must adapt in order to guide and support our clients and partners. We are Bell Media, everywhere and all the time.”
