Bell Media’s French networks announce programming for Bell Let’s Talk Day

MONTRÉAL — Bell Media’s French networks and platforms announced today the special mental health programming they will feature on Jan. 26 as part of Bell Let’s Talk Day.

The documentary Maman, pourquoi tu pleures? (Mom, Why Are You Crying?) will air at 7 p.m. ET on Canal Vie and will also be available on Crave and Noovo.ca. The 60-minute documentary (which we wrote about here) addresses perinatal mental health issues and is an original idea by Quebec actress Jessica Barker (above).

Ahead of Bell Let’s Talk Day, Noovo will present the documentary Survivre au sport (Surviving Sport) on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. ET. The documentary will air again on Jan. 26 at 10:30 p.m. and will also be available on Crave and Noovo.ca.

“Following the revelations of Carey Price and many high-level athletes, Noémi Mercier meets athletes to talk about anxiety in the world of sport,” reads an English translation of the description of the documentary in Bell Media’s French press release.
