Bell Media, union, begin talks

TORONTO – Unionized employees at Bell Media have begun their first set of negotiations with the media company since BCE purchased CTV in 2010.Unifor said that the negotiations kicked off Wednesday in downtown Toronto, and will continue on Thursday as well as two days next week.  The negotiations affect some 650 workers, from camera operators to producers to administrative staff, who work on Bell’s CP-24, Much Music, MTV, E!, Bravo, Space, BNN and other specialty and digital stations."As NABET, then CEP and now as Unifor, our union has a strong history of working with Bell Inc.," said Unifor national representative,...
