TORONTO – Canadians searching for a laugh may now purchase Comedy Central’s collection of new and classic series and specials available to Canadians on iTunes.
Bell Media, which holds rights to Comedy Central content in Canada, said that the Comedy Central Room features all 21 seasons of Much’s South Park, Nathan For You, Inside Amy Schumer, Comedy Central Roasts, Comedy Central Presents, and The Daily Show With Trevor Noah (pictured). The library also features classic Comedy Central favourites including Chapelle’s Show and Key And Peele.
In addition to the current seasons of hit programming, viewers get access to never-before-seen content and behind-the-scenes features when purchasing season boxsets from series such as Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, and Workaholics.
“It is our ongoing strategy to make Comedy Central’s extensive library of programming accessible to Canadians through a broad spectrum of platforms, and iTunes offers a perfect opportunity to reach additional consumers of this popular comedy content,” said Mike Cosentino, Bell Media’s content and programming president, in the news release. “In addition to hundreds of episodes and specials, iTunes provides the ideal forum to make exclusive never-before-seen content from fan-favourites such as Broad City available to comedy lovers across the country.”
