
TORONTO – Bell Media’s The Movie Network, TMN Encore, Super Écran, and Cinépop will wave the flag Wednesday for the fourth annual National Canadian Film Day 150 (NCFD 150) with a Canadian film lineup curated for patriotic movie lovers.
English-language pay TV networks The Movie Network and TMN Encore will screen the likes of Room (pictured, 9:00 PM ET on TMN), The Sweet Hereafter (12 noon ET on TMN Encore) and Away From Her (9:00 PM ET, TMN Encore),while French-language pay TV networks Super Écran and Cinépop’s lineup will include La Guerre des tuques animée, (12:40 p.m. ET on Super Écran), Maurice Richard (2:50 p.m. ET on Cinépop), and Guibord s’en va-t-en guerre (8:45 AM ET on Super Écran).
Presented by Reel Canada, National Canadian Film Day is a day-long celebration of Canadian film through screenings, events, panel discussions, and conversations (both on and offline) across the country.
