Bell Media radio stations throw support behind flood relief efforts in New Brunswick

FREDERICTON – Six Bell Media radio stations in New Brunswick are joining forces to raise emergency relief funds for residents impacted by flooding through a day-long live broadcast set for Thursday, May 10.

The New Brunswick Flood Relief Radiothon in support of the Canadian Red Cross will air from 6 AM to 6 PM on the following stations:

106.9 Capital FM – Fredericton

KHJ – Fredericton

105.3 The Fox – Fredericton

104.9 MAX FM – Bathurst

K93 – Grand Falls

CJ104 – Woodstock

The radiothon will support immediate and long-term relief, recovery, and future preparedness for affected residents, with a strong focus on the more than 1,000 people displaced from their homes, Bell Media said Wednesday.  On-air hosts will continue to deliver the latest news and reports on the flood, cancellations, and traffic updates throughout the New Brunswick Flood Relief Radiothon and in the following days and weeks of recovery efforts.

Listeners are encouraged to support the relief fund by calling 1-866-224-1617, by texting ‘Floods’ or ‘SecoursNB’ to 30333 to make a $10 donation or online via the stations’ official websites.
