TORONTO – Bell Media is trimming some of its editorial staff at TSN Radio stations across the country.
Last week David Pratt’s show at TSN Radio 1040 Vancouver was axed and at least three were terminated at TSN 1200 in Ottawa, report local media.
When queried by Cartt.ca, Bell Media spokesman Scott Henderson confirmed there are cuts happening at TSN Radio in five markets across the country, but he declined to name which ones. TSN Radio operates stations in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
Another announcement affecting TSN Radio in Ottawa is expected Tuesday.
Henderson declined to get into specific numbers of those who are losing their jobs but confirmed the cuts affect TSN Radio only.
