Bell Media fetes TIFF

TORONTO – Bell Media has reconfirmed its support of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) through a range of sponsorships, activations, and media coverage.

TIFF 2013 celebrations kick off Thursday night as Bell Media presents the Festival's opening night gala, the screening of Bill Condon's highly-anticipated film The Fifth Estate, as well as a star-studded after-party.  Fifteen of the feature and documentary films that have benefited from Bell Media support have been confirmed as official selections for TIFF, including Denis Villeneuve's Enemy, Don McKellar's The Grand Seduction, Michael Dowse's The F Word, and Xavier Dolan's Tom at the Farm (Tom à la ferme).

Additionally, nine short films funded by Bell Media's bravoFACT program will screen during the Festival, including Wakening, which will debut prior to the world premiere of The Fifth Estate at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre in downtown Toronto.

TIFF-related coverage will air across Bell Media-owned channels Space and E!, while entertainment show ETALK will produce a red carpet show that can be seen inside Roy Thomson Hall, the festival's main gala venue, and online.
