
TORONTO – Bell Media is bringing its French-language television channels (specialty and RDS) together to create a single 'French-language entertainment and sports television' sales outlet for the Toronto market.
The new structure, the result of “a long period of consideration”, will help to simplify day-to-day activities, the company said. The integrated sales team will also facilitate communication with the brand partnerships team to create creative and innovative concepts for advertisers wishing to develop campaigns in Quebec.
As part of the move, Mark Anthony Di Cio (right) has been promoted to director of sales, French-language TV and RDS, reporting to Alexandre Lauzon, general manager, sales, French-language TV and RDS.
Di Cio joined Bell Media in June 2014 as sales director for RDS on the English Canada and United States team. He was also an account executive, specialty sales for RDS and TSN for more than two years.
