Bell Media adapting Survivor for Noovo’s Quebec audiences

MONTREAL — Bell Media announced today its French-language Noovo channel recently acquired the rights to produce a Quebec adaptation of the reality TV show Survivor from the format owner Banijay. Already produced in more than 40 countries, the Survivor format features competitors trying to survive in an isolated natural setting while completing endurance challenges, skill tests, mental capacity tests and puzzles. The Quebec version will be produced by Bell Media in collaboration with ToRoS Productions. An anticipated premiere date for the show was not announced.
