
Bell announced Tuesday it is now offering its pure-fibre Gigabit Fibe 8.0 internet tier, providing symmetrical download and upload speeds of up to 8 Gbps, for residential customers in select areas of Ontario and Quebec.
“With Bell Pure Fibre 8 Gbps, customers will experience next-level connectivity that is sure to transform the way they work, stream, game and connect,” said an announcement emailed by Bell.
Bell’s Gigabit Fibe 8.0 internet plan is priced at $160 per month, according to information on Bell’s website.
Bell’s fastest home internet tier previously was symmetrical 3 Gbps service.
