TORONTO – Bell Canada today announced the availability of the 6141 High Definition (HD) satellite receiver.
"Growing consumer appetite for HDTVs is driving increased demand for HD services," said Kevin Crull, president, Bell Residential Services, in a press release. "Bell’s new 6141 receiver delivers the Full HD experience, offering consumers the perfect combination of industry leading HD picture quality and access to more than 60 HD channels, the largest selection in Canada."
The new 6141 HD digital satellite receiver delivers seamless surfing between standard and high definition channels, an enhanced electronic programming guide with options to view up to nine channels and three hours of scheduling per page and HDMI interface for superior audio/video connection.
Additional features of the 6141 HD receiver include access to interactive television, Caller ID on your TV that displays the names and phone number of people of incoming calls, and USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity for future applications and hardware, like adding an external hard drive in order to make it a DVR, too.
The 6141 is available across Canada for the purchase price of $299 or rent for $10 per month.
