Bell on Tuesday announced Bell GPCanada is the new brand identity of the official promoter of the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, which Bell has owned since 2021.
“We are proud to unveil Bell GPCanada ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, reflecting our long-term commitment to this iconic event and to the important role it plays for Montréal and for Canada,” Mirko Bibic, Bell president and CEO, said in a press release. “This unified identity strengthens Bell’s leadership and presence across the Grand Prix, while reinforcing our focus on building meaningful connections for fans, partners and the community.”
As owner, promoter and official broadcaster, Bell said it is aligning connectivity, media and live events to deliver “a world-class fan experience” on site and across Bell’s platforms, while fostering lasting economic and community impact for the city of Montreal and Canada.
“With Bell GPCanada, we’re elevating how fans engage with the Grand Prix by bringing together innovation, connectivity and immersive experiences that showcase Montréal and Canada on the global stage,” said Jean-Philippe Paradis, president of Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada and senior vice president of sales for Bell business markets and wholesale services.
As official broadcaster of the Canadian Grand Prix through Bell Media, Bell delivers live race coverage, original digital content and on-site reporting through its sports channels TSN and RDS as well as CTV and Crave via the live CTV channel. TSN and RDS have delivered Formula 1 coverage in Canada since 1992 and 1994, respectively.
In June 2025, Formula 1 announced an extended agreement that will see the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal remain on the F1 calendar through to the 2035 season. The renewal also included a long-term extension to Bell Media’s media rights deal.
