TORONTO – Bell Canada and Hewlett Parkard (HP) Canada have partnered on a deal that gives consumers Bell’s Sympatico high-speed Internet service and a new HP Compaq Presario desktop or HP Pavilion notebook computer for a monthly price of $59.99. The fee is added to customers’ Bell Canada phone bill.
Both the Internet and the computer come with 24-hour technical help.
“Consumers are moving to a high-definition lifestyle, generating and sharing their own personal digital content and enjoying higher quality movies and music,” said Serge Leger, VP of Sales at HP Canada. “HP desktops and HP notebook PCs achieve a much needed balance of form and functionality and this partnership provides customers with a one-stop computing solution to get people the entertainment-enabled PC and the high speed access, they need to enjoy the full digital computing experience.”
The partnership was announced just a day after Hewlett Parkard (HP) entered into a marketing agreement with Vonage Canada.
