MONTREAL – Bell Canada has acquired The Createch Group, a Quebec-based professional services firm specializing in business process optimization and information technology integration, the companies announced today.
This acquisition will consolidate Bell’s existing suite of wireless data solutions and help the company expand its enterprise wireless data portfolio, says the release.
The Createch Group brings in-depth knowledge and expertise in supply chain optimization, manufacturing and logistics performance improvement to Bell’s existing wireless data capabilities, which include:
* Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
* Inventory management
* Field force automation
* Fleet management; and
* Wireless Local Area Networks (wLAN)
"With this acquisition we are creating a virtual centre of excellence in wireless data," said Isabelle Courville, president, enterprise group, Bell Canada. "This complements our wireless data offering and Bell’s continued strategy to serve enterprise customers with the delivery, support and implementation of cost effective, end-to-end, Information Communications and Technology solutions."
The acquisition includes The Createch Group’s sister companies: The Resolution Group and Naxxa Solutions. These companies will now operate under the name The Createch Group, a Bell Canada Company.
