Bell business customers hit by hacking

MONTREAL – Some of Bell’s small-business customers in Ontario and Quebec had their private data made public after a supplier's computer system was illegally hacked.Bell confirmed Sunday that 22,421 user names and passwords plus five valid credit card numbers from small-business customers were posted online over the weekend after a security breach occurred at an unnamed Ottawa-based third-party supplier.“In line with our strict privacy and security policies, Bell is contacting affected small business customers, has disabled all affected passwords, and has informed appropriate credit card companies”, the company said in a statement.  “We continue to work with the supplier as...
