Bell brings pure fibre to Saint-Honoré-de-Témiscouata

MONTREAL — Bell Canada announced yesterday it has expanded its pure fibre Internet service to homes and businesses in Saint-Honoré-de-Témiscouata, a community in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec.

The expansion is part of Bell’s accelerated capital investment in national network infrastructure and “is already bringing all-fibre broadband access to approximately 200 locations in the community,” says a press release.

“We’re proud to bring our pure fibre connections and world-leading Internet and TV services to households and commercial locations in smaller Québec communities like Saint-Honoré-de-Témiscouata as part of our historic network acceleration program,” said Karine Moses, Bell’s Québec vice-chair, in the release.

Bell’s fibre broadband expansion program, fully funded by the company, will provide homes and businesses with Internet download speeds of up to 1.5 gigabits per second (Gbps) and access to Bell’s Fibe TV, says the release.
