Bell brings all-fibre broadband and wireless home Internet to Clarington

CLARINGTON, Ont. — Bell Canada announced today it has expanded its broadband network in the municipality of Clarington, located in Ontario’s Durham Region east of Toronto. More than 25,000 homes and businesses now have access to all-fibre high-speed Internet connections in the municipality, and 5,000 rural locations are able to access Bell’s Wireless Home Internet (WHI) service. Currently, Bell’s high-speed Internet services are available to more than 80% of homes and businesses in Clarington. Bell’s ongoing broadband project in the municipality will see the company deliver direct fibre connections to approximately 5,000 more locations this year, including in Bowmanville, Hampton,...
