
Bell and the Tim Hortons announced Thursday they are turning the musical, The Last Timbit, into an 80-minute special premiering August 12 on Bell’s Crave streaming service.
The Last Timbit tells the story of a group of strangers who wait out a snowstorm in a Tim Hortons shop.
“In this hilarious and heartfelt musical, this unlikely group comes together to explore family and community, and finds the best in hard times, all while battling for the last Birthday Cake Timbit,” a press release describes.
“Tim Hortons is a valued partner and we’re thrilled to collaborate on this unique production that is exclusive to Crave audiences,” Perry MacDonald, Bell Media’s vice president of advertising sales and partnerships, said in the release. “We’re also excited to work with Tim Hortons to leverage the power of Bell Media platforms and promote this special streaming event to a wide audience.”
