Bell Aliant plans new $25 million data centre for Saint John

SAINT JOHN, NB – Bell Aliant announced Tuesday it will build a new $25 million data centre in Saint John. The new data centre will be a 24,000-square foot, one megawatt facility with potential to expand to deliver 4MW. Construction and operation of the centre will create an estimated 50 new jobs. Bell Aliant says the data centre will provide critical infrastructure that will keep businesses in the province, help them grow and attract new businesses to New Brunswick.The province of New Brunswick will contribute $5 million to the project.
