Bell Aliant makes FibreOp faster, adds TV apps

HALIFAX - Bell Aliant has turned up the dial on its FibreOp Internet service with more speed plus added two new free TV apps for new and existing customers. The most popular bundle now comes with download speeds up to 50 Mbps (increased from 30 Mbps) and upload speeds up to 30 Mbps, the company said Wednesday.  In addition, FibreOp customers may now use the Weather Network app to get up-to-the-minute forecasts, while the Galaxie app provides an easy-to-use format for playing music by genre plus allows users to see what songs have been played and are coming up.    In...
