Bell Aliant helps needy kids prepare for school

HALIFAX – Bell Aliant is helping thousands of Canadian children in need to start the school year off with a new backpack filled with school supplies. With help from Bell Aliant Pioneer Volunteers, employees are delivering approximately 7,000 backpacks to 200 school and community-based organizations across six provinces this week, surpassing last year’s delivery of 4,400 backbacks.
