TORONTO – Toronto-based independent telco Beanfield Metroconnect has stepped up efforts to compete and stand out with its first ever marketing campaign after 20 years of business.

The Face of Choice campaign, which will run through April, features a mosaic of staff faces from Beanfield’s head office in Liberty Village showcasing that, like Toronto, the company embraces the blend of differences in its customers.

Beanfield owns, operates, installs, services and supports their True Fibre network end-to-end.  The company says that its biggest point of differentiation from competitors is a guarantee that every customer gets their very own fibre strand straight to them, meaning no throttling or sharing with neighbours, ensuring speeds are always consistent.

“We know that Torontonians have varying needs when it comes to TV, phone and Internet service, and our new campaign will spread the message that we are the true independent alternative to the large providers,” said Beanfield Metroconnect CEO and CTO Dan Armstrong, in the news release.  “We encourage Toronto condo dwellers and businesses to visit chooseBeanfield.com and search their postal code to see if Beanfield is in their building. If Beanfield isn’t in a building, get in touch, as our service area is expanding every day to meet our community’s and our customers’ needs.”

The campaign includes out-of-home, chooseBeanfield.com, digital, social media and public relations.  Outdoor posters will run in the Toronto neighbourhoods of Leslieville, Liberty Village and West Queen West. Transit advertising will wrap streetcars and transit shelter ads will be in downtown neighbourhoods such as Cork Town, Distillery District, Fort York, Liberty Village, King West and Regent Park.  Digital media will focus on paid search.

Founded in 1988, Beanfield is a privately held, Canadian-owned company that owns and operates the largest private fibre optic network throughout downtown Toronto specializing in Ethernet Internet, business phone, transparent Lan, dark fibre and broadcast services.
