BBTV appoints new VP of product and engineering



VANCOUVER – Media tech company BBTV Holdings Inc. announced today it has appointed Ehab Samy (above) to the role of vice-president of product and engineering at its subsidiary BroadbandTV Corp. effective Jan. 1.

Samy will report to Shahrzad Rafati, BroadbandTV Corp. chairperson and CEO.

Samy has 20 years of experience in engineering and product management, the press release says. His most recent position was at Maximizer Software as the head of product and development. He has also previously held roles including director and chief strategy officer at Advanced Intelligent Systems, vice-president of product at Plurilock, and chief technology officer at Yocale.
