Banff World Television Festival calls for entries

TORONTO - The 2011 Banff World Television Festival program competition is now open for entries.The internationally recognised competition honours the best programming across all areas of programming including entertainment, documentary, drama and new media. A total of 29 awards will be handed out this year - 23 genre-based categories and six interactive categories, and the final submission deadline is February 18, 2011. The Banff World Television Festival will be held at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, AB from June 12-15, 2011, and will once again take place in tandem with the nextMedia Banff conference.www.banff2010.com
