Banducci leaving Cogeco’s Peer1 Hosting

MONTREAL – Cogeco Cable said Tuesday that Fabio Banducci has resigned from his duties as co-CEO of its wholly-owned subsidiary Peer1 Hosting to refocus on other opportunities.

His resignation takes effect December 18, 2013.  At that time, Gary Sherlock, who shared the co-CEO duties with Banducci, will take on the president and chief executive officer role.  Cogeco Cable acquired Peer1 Hosting last January, as Cartt.ca reported.

"On behalf of the Board and our employees, we thank Fabio for his contributions," said Cogeco president and CEO Louis Audet, in the announcement.  "We want to take this opportunity to wish Fabio our very best in the next phase of his professional career.

"In addition, it is with great pleasure that I confirm the nomination of Gary Sherlock to the title of President and Chief Executive Officer of Peer1 Hosting, to lead Peer1 Hosting to new heights."
