SYDNEY and NEW YORK — Australia-based global communications infrastructure provider BAI Communications today announced it has agreed to acquire Mobilitie, the largest privately held telecommunications infrastructure company in the United States, according to BAI’s press release. The acquisition represents a major expansion of BAI’s business in North America where it provides cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity across large infrastructure projects, including the subway systems in New York City and Toronto.
