AXS TV launches on Bell MTS


LOS ANGELES — Anthem Sports and Entertainment’s AXS TV announced today the music-themed TV channel is now available to Manitoba viewers on Bell MTS Fibe TV for $4 per month.

AXS TV’s music and lifestyle programming includes in-depth artist profiles, concerts, Impact Wrestling matchups and MMA action from Invicta Fighting Championships.

The channel’s May programming highlights include a roster of performances from rock legends The Who, Cream, Alanis Morissette (above), Fleetwood Mac and Stone Temple Pilots, as well as documentaries capturing the lives and legacies of rock trailblazers Rush, Alice Cooper, The Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen.

AXS TV’s May lineup also puts the spotlight on the channel’s “Sunday Night Rocks” block, featuring The Top Ten Revealed, where a rotating panel of icons and experts weigh in on the best artists, albums and songs in a wide variety of categories, as well as the profile series A Year in Music, hosted by Grammy-winning Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale, and the Love Live the 90s limited event, featuring a collection of modern concerts from ’90s influencers Jane’s Addiction, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Garbage.

Starting today, AXS TV is available a la carte to Bell MTS Fibe TV subscribers on Channel 1325. The channel is already available on Bell Fibe TV in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.
