
TORONTO – CTV announced Wednesday that it has acquired all 34 episodes of the new digital series Guidestones and has made it available at CTV.ca/Guidestones, on the CTV App and CTV Mobile for Bell Mobile TV.

Inspired by real-life events and produced in Toronto, Guidestones is about two journalism students who uncover a global conspiracy while investigating the unsolved murder of a scientist.
The series won this year’s International Digital Emmy award for a fiction series. It has also won several Canadian awards, including the 2013 Digi for Best Web Series – Fiction at the Digi Awards, a 2013 Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Series Produced for Digital Media, and a 2012 Banff Rockie Award for Best Webseries – Fiction.
“We’re bringing entertaining and unique content to all of CTV platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to connect with viewers wherever they are,” said Mike Cosentino, CTV Networks’ SVP of programming, CTV Networks, in a release.
Co-written, co-produced and directed by Jay Ferguson, Guidestones joins other stand-alone series acquired by CTV exclusively for digital platforms, including Backpacers, Inside the Race, Last Call, and Double Date….with Death and the Confession.
