Award-winning broadcaster Daryl McIntyre to retire after 41 years

Corus Radio on Tuesday announced Daryl McIntyre, an award-winning reporter and anchor and currently the co-host of 630 CHED Edmonton’s This Morning with Stacey Brotzel and Daryl McIntyre, is retiring after 41 years in broadcasting. A graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s (NAIT) Radio and Television Arts program, McIntyre began his broadcast career in TV news, garnering an Edward R. Murrow Award for feature reporting in 2009 when he worked at CFRN-TV in Edmonton, and later a Canadian Screen Award for best local news anchor in 2017 when he was with CTV News Edmonton.
