THORNHILL, Ont. – Steven Taylor has been named sales vice-president for AT&T Global Services Canada, the company announced today.

In his new role Taylor, who’ll be based in Toronto, will manage all of AT&T’s retail business sales, helping both Canadian multinational companies (MNC) and global MNCs.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in AT&T’s business sales organization, "with proven success and leadership in senior sales and management roles," says the press release. Since joining the company in 1985, he has served AT&T in a number of areas including AT&T headquarters and sales and direct sales roles.

"AT&T Global Services Canada has an excellent history of meeting the global networking needs of MNCs in the country,” said Taylor in the release. “I am excited about the opportunity to help the Canadian team deliver innovative solutions to our customers and expand AT&T’s business in the region.”

We are thrilled to have Steve head up the team in Canada,” added Andrea Messineo, regional vice-president of AT&T for Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. “By combining his client focus and business acumen, Steve will help our Canadian team deliver a broad range of solutions to our multinational corporations doing business in Canada.”

Prior to this new role, Taylor worked closely with AT&T’s customers as sales vice-president, enterprise business markets and AT&T Business Services, to help them identify unique networking solutions that best suited their business needs. Before that, he led a globally deployed sales support team and managed the RFP process for AT&T’s 300 largest global companies.

Mr. Taylor will be based in Toronto, Ontario.
