ATN’s original new series ‘The Achievers’ to debut Wednesday

TORONTO – ATN will premiere a new original series Wednesday profiling noteworthy individuals who have achieved highest honors in the fields of politics, business, entertainment, medicine, arts/culture, sports and academics.

The Achievers is an original Canadian series produced at ATN's new high definition studios and broadcast centre.  Spotlighting those who have made it big in their home countries or abroad as immigrants, the series promises exclusive interviews with names including Stephen Harper (pictured), Brian Mulroney, Paul Martin, Jack Layton and Benazir Bhutto from the world of politics; business leaders Ed and David Mirvish, John Bitove, Michael Lee Chin, Belinda Stronach, Aditya Birla and S.P. Godrej; plus Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Gopal Bhatnagar, astronaut Dr. Dave Williams and Lord Swaraj Paul.

The series will run for 39 weeks in prime time on ATN HD and other selected ATN affiliated channels.
