Astral to roll out French HD in October

MONTREAL – Astral Media plans to air shows in high definition on its French-language specialty channels this fall. Pierre Roy, President of Les Chaînes Télé Astral, said in a speech in Montreal today to members of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television that the HD rollout will begin this October on Super Écran and six specialty services.
