Astral to fund school music programs to the tune of $700K

MONTREAL – Astral Media will contribute $700,000 to a Canadian music education charity called MusiCounts.The donation of $100,000 per year over the next seven years is part of the Astral/Standard Broadcasting Benefits package. The funding will help to provide new musical instruments and support young musical talent by promoting music programs in 70 elementary and secondary schools across Canada.
