
TORONTO – Signy Klein has been promoted to the position of consumer marketing manager, Family Channel and Maryse Gauthier to the position of consumer marketing manager, The Movie Network, Astral Television announced today.
In her new position, Klein (left) will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans and campaigns for Family Channel. She will also work to expand the Family Channel brand through new services and products associated with the network. In her previous role as consumer marketing manager for The Movie Network, Klein was a driving force behind the network’s new positioning and channel delineations as well as the launch of The Movie Network On Demand.
Before joining Astral Media, Klein was a Brand Manager at Cadbury Chocolate Canada and Buena Vista Home Entertainment. Klein began her career on the agency side working for Lowe SMS and Roche Macaulay.
Gauthier (right) will be responsible for strategic branding, off-air advertising, research and promotions for The Movie Network and Mpix brands. Before moving into this role, she was affiliate marketing manager for The Movie Network and Family Channel where she most recently executed marketing initiatives for The Movie Network On Demand and key HBO programming. Prior to joining Astral Television Networks, Gauthier was a national account manager at Transcontinental Media for the women’s publications group.
